JOB SUMMARY
The Institute of Materials Science (IMS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) is seeking applicants for a fulltime CoDirector of the Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP) to join our technical staff team. The Institute of Materials Science is an interdisciplinary institute with a threefold mission fostering education research and outreach in all areas of the materials sciences. Within the Institute of Materials Science the Industrial Affiliates Program develops meaningful relationships with industry partners to coordinate materialsrelated research development and production projects through annual memberships and/or feefor service work. Under the supervision of the IMS Director the IAP CoDirector will be one of two Directors overseeing IAP with a focus on building external partnerships and business development.

This is a fulltime enddate position. The University offers a competitive salary outstanding benefits including employee and dependent tuition waivers at UConn and a highly desirable work environment. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidates background and experience.
Other rights terms and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the American Association of University Professors UConn Chapter (AAUP).
