Adjunct Faculty
Liberal Arts Department Quantitative Reasoning
The Cleveland Institute of Art seeks qualified applicants for Adjunct Faculty positions in Liberal Arts to teach elective courses in Quantitative Reasoning. Areas of instruction may include statistics finance mathematics and the mathematical sciences formal and symbolic logic economics data science and other areas of quantitative problemsolving. We especially encourage applicants who are interested in teaching thematic or crossdisciplinary courses for students of art and design.
Minimum qualifications include a masters degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. Adjunct faculty are not eligible for benefits. Adjunct faculty are limited to a maximum of four teaching assignments per academic year. Inperson teaching is required for this course.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest summarizing qualifications CV and a list of 3 references.
The positions will begin in July 2025. Application reviews will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Background check authorizations will be required for finalists.
