Job Description

AUTOMOTIVE FLEET TECHNICIAN

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Sunrise Transportation Company is looking to add a fulltime Fleet Technician with experience working on gasoline engines. Reporting to the Service Manager you will perform preventative maintenance safety inspections and repairs.

What well trust you with:

Performing preventative inspections and general maintenance including fluid changes brakes and tires
Preparing units for IDOT inspections
Diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing gasoline engine and engine components
Checking and maintaining bus safety systems such as 8way lighting stop arm and cross walk
Camera and GPS systems maintenance

Maintaining and processing work orders

What matters most for this role:

You have a strong knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance
Completed a High School diploma/GED
Proven experience working as an automotive technician or similar
Have the willingness to work in a diverse organization with many highpressure situations
You learn quickly and have professional written and oral communication skills
