Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and have a knack for providing topnotch customer service Honda of Libertyville part of the prestigious Murgado Automotive Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Parts Counterperson to join our team. In this role you will work closely with both our customers and service technicians to ensure we have the right parts at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist retail and wholesale customers with their automotive parts needs in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide accurate parts information including pricing availability and ordering.
Assist service technicians by providing timely delivery of the necessary parts to complete vehicle repairs.
Manage incoming inventory track shipments and maintain an organized parts storage area.
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently including invoicing and cash handling.
Order parts from suppliers and maintain inventory to meet customer demand.
Stay uptodate on Honda parts knowledge to provide expert advice to customers and the service team.
Collaborate with the Parts Manager to achieve department goals and provide excellent customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Parts Counterperson preferably in a Honda automotive dealership setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
A high degree of automotive parts knowledge and familiarity with parts catalogs and ordering systems.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and invoicing systems.
Organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining an accurate inventory.
A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
