NOCCCD is now accepting applications for an Adjunct Physics/Astronomy Instructor at Cypress College! Physics courses to teach may include: Physics3. Astronomy courses to teach may include: Lecture: Astronomy 116 and Laboratory Astronomy 117.

Desirable Qualifications
Recent experience teaching labbased physics courses within the last 5 years either college TA or high school. Detailed experience teaching physics courses especially introductory classes with innovative teaching practices supporting success and retention of women students of color and students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters in physics astronomy or astrophysics OR Bachelors in physics or astronomy AND Masters in engineering mathematics meteorology or geophysics OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
