Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paramedic Practitioner to join our allied health team. As a Paramedic Practitioner you will provide highquality care to patients in emergency medical situations utilizing your expertise to assess and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide onsite medical care and treatment
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients conditions and prioritize care based on severity
- Administer medications perform advanced medical procedures and provide lifesaving interventions as necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Collaborate with ambulance crews emergency department staff and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and transfer
- Educate patients and the community on injury prevention first aid and emergency medical care
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Paramedic Science or related field
- Certification as a Paramedic Practitioner
- Current registration with the appropriate regulatory body
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick effective decisions in highpressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Daytoday
- Responding to emergency calls and providing immediate medical care
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conducting thorough assessments and delivering appropriate treatments
- Educating patients and the community on emergency medical care and injury prevention
- Documenting patient interactions and interventions for accurate recordkeeping
