OnsiteRTX BBN solves challenging problems of high importance to our customers in the Department of Defense the Intelligence Community and Industry by rapidly prototyping systems for sensing complex physical phenomena correlating them to events of interest and producing highvalue actionable information from the sensed data. The team specializes in delivering networked sensor system solutions by combining a strong understanding of the underlying physics highfidelity modeling simulation of complex signatures and propagation phenomenology deep expertise in signal processing EM and RF phenomenology and computer science proven capabilities in system development and mature tools to enable rapid design cycles from theory to demonstration. We are currently searching for a highly qualified engineer to join our Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) team in Arlington VA or Columbia MD.
What You Will Do
BBN is seeking an engineer knowledgeable in the radio frequency (RF) domain to join our team of electrical engineers physicists and mathematicians as we design and develop advanced Electronic Warfare prototype systems that exploit the RF spectrum. The selected candidate will be responsible for advancing research prototypes to meet customer requirements for Electronic Warfare (EW) and countermeasures to include realtime detection filtering and tracking and array processing. Areas of technical emphasis include embedded software development and RF signal processing. Additional support on programs involving rangedoppler radar and synthetic aperture radar is also desirable.
Candidate may plan and supervise tasks involving 13 individuals for small applied research projects where we design and implement advanced signal processing algorithms in novel hardware implement on realtime hardware test in a lab environment then validate in an overtheair field environment. The experienced Candidate will have the opportunity to present technical advancements to government customers.
