Summary The LICSW provides clinical support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and forensic backgrounds. The LICSW demonstrates a commitment to delivering highquality personcentered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The LICSW works collaboratively with individuals families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address complex needs including behavioral emotional and social challenges. Essential Job Functions - Conducts assessments for adults with wideranging developmental profiles and diagnoses across day vocational community and residential programs
- Leads and facilitates groups for individuals focusing on building communication interpersonal and coping skills in a supportive and structured environment
- Develop and implement specialized programming tailored to individuals with forensic backgrounds addressing their unique emotional behavioral and social needs while ensuring alignment with legal clinical and ethical guidelines
- Develop and implement tailored programming for aging individuals individuals with dementia Alzheimers Huntingtons disease and other cognitive impairments focusing on enhancing quality of life maintaining functional abilities and providing emotional support for both individuals and families
- As a certified sex educator provide comprehensive sex education and support to individuals ensuring content is accessible appropriate and respectful of their unique needs and experiences while fostering healthy relationships and promoting personal safety and wellbeing
- Monitor Psychotropic Medication Treatment Plans (PMTP) and assist with the analysis of progress data
- Conduct formal observations of participants to inform assessment and/or treatment guidance
- Serves as a role model and coach to program managers and direct care staff relative to implementation of supportive techniques teaching strategies and data collection
- Assist program staff when behavioral or social skills issues arise with participants.
- Work in collaboration with the clinical team to ensure sound personcentered and creative clinical programming based on team recommendations.
- Participate in clinical and staff meetings ISP meetings intake meetings and other relevant meetings as assigned.
- Serves as member of the Professional Interdisciplinary Team.
- Monitors and safeguards the health wellbeing and safety of individuals in the program onsite and in the community. Reports issues to the appropriate persons and handles emergencies according to agency policies and procedures.
- Ensures the coordination between residential and day services programs for continuity of care to dually supported participants.
- Serves as a mandated reporter as required by the Disabled Persons Protection Commission.
- Processes all human rights issues incident and accident reports in a timely manner according to agency policy/procedure. Ensures the human rights of program participants are safeguarded in all interventions.
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with families participants and staff and informs supervisor of significant and/or unresolved issues.
- Acts in a manner consistent with organizational values program mission and service delivery goals. Serves as a resource and role model for staff.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add subtract multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Certificates Licenses Registrations - Valid Drivers License
- Current First Aid and adult CPR certification required within first 6 months on the job; thereafter employee is expected to remain current.
