Job Description
The ideal candidate for this role has a strong customer orientation and is able to ensure the best experience for the latter. The key technologies to be familiar with are mainly .Net WPF XAML VB connectivity protocols and secondarily JavaScript cloud and database reporting tools and graphic development.
This role requires close collaboration with customers so they can maximize the benefits of the purchased software.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Know the Movicon.NExT software platform becoming a power user of the product
- Manage customer tickets and provide support with a continuous improvement perspective both of the product and the process
- Understand customer goals and provide advice on how to achieve them in the best possible way with the best possible product
- Understand how to connect to controllers and equipment
- Provide training and expertise to customers
You are a customerfocused professional with strong technical skills a proactive mindset and a passion for learning. You excel in dynamic environments building trust through effective communication and problemsolving. Your adaptability and creativity ensure customized solutions that meet customer needs while delivering exceptional support.
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering Industrial Automation or a related field. Equivalent work experience is also considered.
- Willingness to learn new software systems developing new skills
- Positive and proactive attitude in relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to write basic software programs using tools like Visual Studio with procedural languages such as VB
- PC knowledge and skills: primarily Windows and possibly Linux.
- Strong inclination to innovate with the speed of a small company while being fully supported by the strength of one of the largest industrial companies in operation today
- Curiosity and motivation to stay updated on competitive solutions customer needs and new technological approaches as the industry evolves
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and good stress resistance
- Ability to think creatively to produce customized solutions
- Experience presenting new technologies to customers and visitors
- 2 years of experience in SCADA/HMI application development is desirable
- Previous experience as an Application Engineer Field Service Engineer or Control Engineer is desirable
- Ability to travel to customer sites if necessary for problem resolution and diagnosis of reported issues
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
