In business for over 50 years Ocean Steel Rebar Limited is one the largest reinforcing steel suppliers in Atlantic Canada. With a combined capacity of over 18000 tons our two fabrication plants supply a wide variety of reinforced concrete projects in New Brunswick Nova Scotia and P.E.I. We offer complete rebar services from estimating detailing fabrication and placement. Using the latest CAD technology offered by Bentley MicroStation and aSa software we provide high quality detailing that meets CSA RSIC and ASTM specifications.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for producing accurate and precise placing drawings necessary for the fabrication and placement of reinforcing steel bars and related accessories in accordance with customer contract documents and industry standards. In addition the Rebar Detailer should be familiar with many aspects of commercial construction such as estimating planning and submittals. The ideal candidate should have experience working with detailing software have project management skills and a keen eye for detail. They must also be comfortable working within rigid time constraints with the ability to interact with all levels of operations.
