Physicians at Cornell Health provide direct ambulatory primary patient care to students of the university. Each physician has responsibility to provide or arrange for comprehensive care for a patients holistic needs including their medical mental health emotional and social issues. All physicians collaborate with community and other Cornell Health physician colleagues health associates nursing staff ancillary and support staff professional psychotherapist staff physical therapists and health educators to provide comprehensive care to students as patients. In their clinical work with students physicians are involved with the developmental educational emotional psychological social and academic aspects of students lives and often are called upon to interact with parents faculty and other professionals both on and off campus in a patientcentered medical home model of primary care delivery.
Success Factors
This position is a fulltime 18month fixedterm position. Extension of the term appointment is contingent upon funding successful performance and business need. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
