Fresh Start Foods has an opportunity for a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will spend their time delivering products to our customers. May require some flexibility in working schedule.
Employment Type: Full Time (Must be available to work on weekends and holidays)
Start time 5:30AM
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving Duties
- Deliver products to customers in a company vehicle.
- Know Greater Vancouver road
- Provide exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships.
- Perform product delivery verification at the customer location and maintain invoices.
- Follow all policies and procedures including health & safety regulations.
- Physically lifting loading and stacking food service products of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work quickly and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.
- Selfmotivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Class 5 unrestricted drivers license with clean drivers abstract
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changes in priorities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Experience driving a three or fiveton truck is preferred
Basic understanding of the cold chain process is preferred
Basic understanding of technology is an asset
Knowledge of the food industry is an asset
Familiarity with routes and the lower mainland is preferred
