About this position:
The Small Business Lending Underwriter will be responsible for conducting a complete review of all loan applications including an indepth analysis of our members credit and financial information.
What youll do:
Oversee the Small Business Lending credit process and analysis for each assigned credit request from date of loan request through loan decisioning.
Complete thorough reviews of applicants credit along with all Business and Personal Tax returns.
Approve disapprove or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision.
Interview Members regarding their loan applications to ensure all information relating to credit and financial review has been obtained..
Assist in the monitoring of loans to ensure loans remain in compliance & report discrepancies or loan defaults to management.
Prepare and/or review all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
Participate in sales development activities.
Assist management as needed.
Authorize release of collateral on existing loans changes in loan terms waivers of
payments due date change etc.
What Youll Bring:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience including preparatory experience.
A high school degree or equivalent
A significant level of trust credibility and diplomacy is required.
