As a Medical Records Director you will play a crucial role in overseeing the department responsible for managing and maintaining medical records and documents. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant medical record keeping as well as supervising a team of clerical and technical staff who handle complex medical case histories. Given the importance of correctly classifying and crossreferencing medical records your work requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. You will report to an administrative supervisor and your work will be regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with departmental and facility policies and procedures through reports conferences and inspections.
