Job Description

RAPP Detroit is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our awardwinning Program Management team.

Part of Omnicoms Precision Marketing Group RAPP is comprised of 2000 creatives technologists strategists and data and marketing scientists across 15 global markets.

YOUR ROLE:

As Sr. Project Manager you are the director of the client projects youre the one who knows how to make things happen. Youre the master of the and process from project initiation to delivery. You are passionate about the space from CRM DM and Digital. Youre creative solutionsoriented organized collaborative and have exceptional people skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keeps projects moving forward smoothly develops project plans for new work ensures that creative can be produced within specified timeframes efficiently manages communicates milestones throughout the project lifecycle proactively mitigates risks and comfortable adapting to changes from inception to delivery of projects.
  • Manages account/projectrelated meetings including weekly account status meetings internal reviews etc. Issues and or ensure issuance of timely contract reports.
  • Tracks budget for projects ensures deliverables can be produced within specified budgets proactively identifies any risks and escalates needs to business / agency leads to be addressed.
  • Aligns the project team to the work to ensure resources are available and present at appropriate times throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Responsible for maintaining the required level of quality through every step of the delivery process.
  • Manages simultaneous projects within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Collaborates with disciplines across the agency to deliver the highest quality of work
  • If assigned capable of mentoring junior team members of the best practices of the agency and project management.
  • Builds respectful strong working relationships with internal team(s) from Business Leadership to resources on a project as well as external partners and vendors.
  • Builds respectful strong working relationships when applicable with client(s). Ensure understanding and adherence to agency process.
  • Optimizes production workflows and processes with a goal of constant improvement.
  • Proficient with programs such as the Office 360 suite: Visio Excel PPT and MS Project and Teams.
  • Experience with project management/workflow tools a plus (specifically WorkFront JIRA)
  • Leads efficient meetings and conference calls. Ensures timely conference notes and action steps taken.
  • Is a champion of the agency process and quality work. Ensures adherence by all parties.
  • Is versed in mainstream process methodologies including waterfall and agile.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 years of experience in CRM and 360 campaign management i.e. digital direct mail video radio etc. at an advertising agency at a media direct marketing or interactive advertising agency.
  • Experience in managing crossdiscipline teams including strategy creative and technology.
  • Experience in multiplatform content extensions and original content production.
  • Working knowledge & understanding of web technologies including HTML DHTML etc.
  • Working knowledge of email deployment and campaign management systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of print production/ process a plus.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
  • Possess an established track record of successful accomplishment with clients / teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including MS Project and Teams
  • Experience with WorkFront JIRA or related PM systems a plus.
  • Have strong organizational skills and be detailedoriented / stickler for details.
  • Have strong written and communication skills.

This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill set experience and training certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
