We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer .NET Angular) to support developing and delivering our highquality Darwin product. Marsh McLennan (MMC) has established its EMEA Technology Hub in Cluj Romania reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence. This hub is central to our digital strategy addressing emerging challenges and enhancing service delivery through advanced technology solutions that empower our clients and promote sustainable growth.
We will count on you to:
- Designing and developing our main product Darwin;
- Deliver the Darwin Roadmap: productivity and quality of software produced is in line with expectations ensuring any guidance or feedback is followed and implemented;
- Work closely with any mentors or assigned senior engineers to ensure development needs are met;
- Ensuring bestpractice development methods are used and followed where relevant
- Designing and Developing systems that are maintainable scalable extensible reliable and secure;
- Extensive frontend development using the latest web technologies to create userfriendly and accessible user experiences;
- Working in multidisciplined teams including Architecture Quality Engineering Product Management UX
- ObjectOriented Programming (SOLID) fundamentals;
What you need to have:
- At least 1 year of experience in software development and delivery;
- Common design patterns and SOLID principles;
- Debugging and general problemsolving skills;
- Agile development methodology along with full software development life cycle experience;
- Proactive communication and crossgroup collaboration;
- Web performance testability accessibility and security;
- HTTP(S) and other common communication protocols;
- RESTful APIs
- C# .NetASP Core;
- HTML & CSS;
- Angular 2.0 and above;
- TypeScript;
- Web API;
What makes you stand out:
- LESS or SASS;
- MVC;
- WCF or gRPC;
- MSMQ or RabbitMQ
- Experience in UI testing tools framework;
- Good knowledge of relational and nonrelational databases (SQL MongoDB or other NoSQL);
- Git/TFS;
