Job Opportunity: Attendant

Rate of Pay: $24.25

Status: Parttime nonbenefit eligible (average of 016 hours per week weekends required)

Position Close Date: January 9 2025

Shifts/Hours: Saturday and Sunday 8 hours per day. Due to the nature of this position there might variation to days and shifts. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 4:00 pm to midnight or midnight to 8:00 am.

As a Youth Assessment Center Attendant you would be expected to carry out procedures and activities to ensure the security and wellbeing of persons being held in the Grand Forks County Youth Assessment Center.

Basic Requirements:

  1. High school graduate or GED and at least 20 years of age.
  2. Ability to pass a thorough criminal background investigation including a medical and drug/alcohol screening.
  3. Knowledge of dealing with people multitasking legalities of restricted environment ability to successful pass licensing for Correctional Officer Certificate and maintain a valid drivers license.
  4. Must have availability to work every other weekend 8 to 12 hours per shift. Max hours per week 18.

STATUS AND HOURS: Parttime not benefit eligible based on a 16 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday 8 hours per day. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm 4:00 pm to midnight or midnight to 8:00 am. Due to the nature of this position there might variation to days and shifts. This position is considered essential which requires the availability to be oncall duty and the ability to report during inclement weather.
