Job Description
Parttime weekend rotation 7:00am 7:00pm.
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for the care of patients as well as clerical and unit maintenance duties. The Monitor Tech is responsible for the setup record keeping and monitoring of telemetry patients.
Education and Formal Training: High School graduate or equivalent. Current North Carolina Aide registry verified through the NC Healthcare Personnel Registry or Current North Carolina Nurses Aide registry listing verified through the N.C. Must complete and pass EKG Course within 30 days of hire. Current AHA CPR or obtained within 30 days of hire.
Work Experience: Prior experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:Some knowledge of patient care measures used to provide personal hygiene and comfort; procedures and techniques in giving simple treatment in providing care. Some ability to physically mentally and emotional perform activities involved in this position.
