Role Description

This role is open to remote work with preference in Eastern/Central time zone.

Consumer Insights Analyst
The Consumer Insights Analyst will be responsible for championing the voice of the end consumer across Eastmans growth businesses. This position will support the management of multiple consumer insight projects with various internal stakeholders while leveraging results to support multigenerational project planning market activation strategies and customer engagement worldwide. The individual in this role will be seen as an expert on consumer research methodologies and consumer trends within Eastman. This role reports to the Global Consumer Insights Manager Specialty Plastics & Performance Films within Eastmans Strategy Insights & Analytics division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Consumer Insights Manager to scope and execute consumer insights projects across Eastman including stakeholder alignment sessions developing project scoping documents RFPs vendor selection questionnaire development etc.
  • Manage the analysis of multiple consumer insight projects quantitative and qualitative in partnership with the consumer insights team.
  • Synthesize and translate research into actionable insights that will be delivered by other members of the team to internal and external stakeholders through reports infographics presentations etc.
  • Actively monitor industry and consumer trends in relevant markets and share those trends with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to insert the voice of the consumer into discussions and projects across Eastman.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • A Masters Degree or MBA from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.
  • A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Statistics economics business marketing or public policy degrees preferred but not required.


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Three to six years of experience in consumer or market research roles.
  • Experience with SPSS SAS or similar analytical tools is required.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills required.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking creativity enthusiasm and bias for action.
  • Experience navigating large matrixed organizations.
