Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health challenges and disabilities At Easterseals PORT Health were seeking a compassionate and dedicated fulltime Outpatient Therapist to join our Team in the Raleigh area. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What Youll Do
As an Outpatient Therapists you will provide services designed to meet the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs of the recipient. This service is provided through scheduled therapeutic treatment sessions and may be provided to individuals families or groups. The OPT Therapy team at Easterseals PORT Health uses a Strengthbased Approach to develop Person Centered Plans (PCPs) that are designed to treat the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs for the recipient. As a Therapist the average for clinical hours is up to 15 hours each week (PT). Services are provided at the Wake County Juvenile Detention Center (Raleigh NC) and/or the Dillon Juvenile Detention Center (Butner NC).
How Youll Benefit
Youll earn a competitive salary of $50. This is a parttime role that requires a few hours a day with flexible hours. This position can be in person or telehealth.
What Were Looking For
To join our team you must be willing to provide care in various community settings rotate phone coverage as needed have a passion for helping others have experience with diffusing crisis and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following:
- Full or provisional licensure: LCSW LCMHC LMFT
- Dual licensure preferred
- Prior mental health and/or substance use experience preferred
