Position : Laboratory Technologist
Location : Sparks MD
Duration : 12 Months
Total Hours/week : 40.00
1st Shift

Work days/hours: Mon Thurs 6am 4:30pm 410 hour shifts)
Job Description:
- Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products.
- Operates production equipment. Weighs measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities. Assists with inprocess testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration cleaning and sterilization.
- Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals solvents and acids. Identifies troubleshoots and resolves complex issues associated with scientific operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment.

- Assists with inprocess testing to ensure batches meet specifications.
- Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals solvents and acids.
- Creates solutions powders and liquids for batches to meet specifications
- Provides training support for onboarding and/or new procedures
- Provides support to the lead/supervisor when necessary
- Provides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiency
- Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Must follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
- Must follow all client safety policies and procedures
- Must be able to work overtime as required to meet client business requirements
Basic Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must be detailoriented
- Strong time management skills required
- Ability to operate independently
- Proficient/Working Skills:
- Must be proficient in English with the ability to read write analyze/evaluate charts follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required
