Position Summary
The ANA Marketing Training & Development Center is looking for a Manager of Curriculum Design to support curriculum development for our live (synchronous) training programs. Previous experience designing and delivering synchronous training for trade associations universities or inhouse for a brand is required. Candidate must be organized exhibit strong critical thinking and communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks accurately and to schedule. This individual must have initiative and a proven work ethic along with the ability to prioritize workflows and efficiently manage their time.

The Manager Curriculum Design will support a robust training catalog of 150 programs that support our members in meeting the highdemand challenges of the marketing industry. Candidate will report into the SVP Marketing Capabilities & Curriculum Design as part of a growing highfunctioning team. The Manager Curriculum Design will be responsible for designing select curriculums while simultaneously project managing ontime delivery of B2B marketing materials internal quality assurance reporting and administrative oversight for unit priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Live and breathe member brand growth obsession. Consistently place the member first by understanding and delivering on key growth strategies as identified by the ANA and/or industrywide developments
  • Apply professional learning principles and theory to design marketing training curriculum including:
      • Sole responsibility for designing a select subset of halfday marketing training curriculums
      • Support updates and/or design needs across entire portfolio of inperson and livevirtual halfday multiday and microlearning products
  • Maintain marketing assets across entire portfolio
  • Provide regular quality assurance reporting across entire portfolio
  • Utilize and maintain internal databases for timely and accurate information tracking synthesis and reporting
  • Interface regularly with senior executives (internal & external) and established subject matter experts in an effective manner

Professional Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree plus 35 years prior experience in curriculum design and/or content development for marketing marketing research or other business discipline
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of professional learning principles with a corresponding ability to communicate fluently across interrelated subject areas
  • Excellent written listening and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate broad industry themes into real world concepts that deliver on specific learning outcomes
  • Highly organized detailed and proactive time management skills
  • Ability to balance working independently while working in a collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a fluid workflow
  • A passion for contributing to growth goals and building new resources that drive positive outcomes
  • An insatiable love of learning
  • Previous experience writing and/or editing copy required
  • Demonstrated understanding of the marketing and advertising ecosystem preferred
  • Previous experience working in professional L&D preferred
  • Previous nonprofit experience a plus

Salary and Total Rewards Package
Starting pay range: $65000 to $70000 based on relevant experience and qualifications.
