You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Radio Dispatcher is responsible for receiving processing and prioritizing emergency and nonemergency calls for the Department of Public Safety at the BGSU campus. Operates and monitors BGSU police radio Bowling Green City Police radio county and state police agency radios BGSU nonpolice employee radios as well as other types of police communications equipment. Reports to a Dispatch and Records Supervisor.
Essential Competencies
Union Contract Pay $24.71 $28.65 per hour. (Please Note: This is a collective bargaining unit position.
Successful candidates will receive a onetime $2000 bonus upon successful completion of their probationary period.
Radio dispatcher experience and training will be considered after the successful competition of the Communication Training Program which may increase the hourly wage up to $28.65.
