Position Overview:As an Industrial Engineer you will apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to optimize products processes and services in alignment with program requirements. You will develop plant layouts capacity plans and workflows while evaluating new technologies for integration into production and service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design maintain and optimize production systems by integrating design supply base facilities equipment and personnel.
- Conduct workflow design and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and improve quality.
- Develop models databases and spreadsheets to analyze data providing summary analysis and metrics for leadership consultation.
- Research design and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance reduce costs and improve quality.
- Standardize assembly practices.
- Prepare operations plans including budgeting capacity analysis and production change management to meet technical goals.
- Support planning through project management planning scheduling and shop load practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and ergonomic guidelines.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
- Level 2: 2 years of workrelated experience with a Bachelors degree OR workrelated experience with a Masters
- Level 3: 5 years of workrelated experience with a Bachelors degree OR 3 years of workrelated experience with a Masters degree OR workrelated experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working closely with manufacturing assembly line technicians helping support their efforts
Typical Education/Experience:
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Master3 years related work experience). In the USA ABET accreditation is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.
