Job Description
A growing company is seeking a Sourcing & Product Development Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with reliable suppliers conducting market research to source innovative products and negotiating pricing and lead times. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing and supply chain experience as well as the ability to collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop new products and enforce quality control standards.
Responsibilities Include:
Supplier Relationship Management:
Identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure highquality products at competitive prices.
Negotiate pricing lead times and terms with suppliers to ensure costeffective sourcing.
Product Development & Collaboration:
Work closely with design and marketing teams to develop new products that align with market trends and customer needs.
Enforce quality control standards to ensure product excellence.
Logistics & Inventory Management:
Manage logistics to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
Monitor sales performance and inventory levels analyze reorder points and assist in demand forecasting.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to source innovative products and identify new trends.
Analyze supplier performance and provide insights for improvement.
Ideal Qualifications:
3 years of experience in sourcing supply chain management or product development.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to establish lasting supplier relationships.
Proficiency in relevant software including inventory management and sourcing tools.
Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with crossfunctional teams.
