The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Officer to assist with a range of executive secretarial office management and communications services to support the Office of the ViceChancellor and President.
The Executive Officer will be responsible for producing and editing papers briefings and presentations supporting committees and working groups and developing and deploying the Office of the ViceChancellors program of communications and governance activities. Acting as a liaison between senior management stakeholders and clients the Executive Officer will also devise communication solutions for complex issues and conduct research analyse information and offer advice on sensitive matters. Additionally the role involves driving continuous improvement in business practices supporting projects and ensuring compliance and efficiency within the office.
To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrated experience in coordinating functions or administrative processes with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service. You should possess proven writing and editing skills with the ability to create content for speeches and social media with a good awareness of current events. Strong planning organisational and administrative skills are essential along with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information. Excellent relationship management analytical and problemsolving abilities along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are also key to interacting with stakeholders and providing expert advice.
