Job Description
Position Summary:
Jefferies is seeking a senior associate for its Electrical Equipment / MultiIndustry Equity Research team. The candidate will support the team in writing extensive company and industry research constructing detailed company financial models and marketing written research recommendations to clients and institutional salespeople.
Responsibilities Include:
- Write research publications on industry trends and stock recommendations
- Create and maintain earnings and valuation models
- Analyze industry trends and compile findings
- Produce marketing materials for clients
- Attend company events industry conferences and trade shows
- Develop relationships with management teams and industry contacts
- Communicate teams stock views and industry themes to institutional investors trading desks and other internal constituencies within Jefferies
Key Qualifications:
- 24 yrs. of experience in equity research investment banking or related fields
- Undergraduate degree in accounting economics finance math or other quantitative fields
- Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
- Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Superior financial statement modeling skills with demonstrated selfauditing abilities
- Highly detailoriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint and Word
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135000 $165000.
