PARTS SET UP
Family owned Hammon Plating has been in business since 1969. As a leader in the cleaning and plating industry we have set the standard with premium processes and procedures to support semiconductor biotech solar and a variety of other industries. Location: Salt Lake City Utah Schedule: Fulltime MF
Job Description:
- Rack parts securely using appropriate fixtures and tooling.
- Apply masking to areas requiring protection from plating.
- Remove masking postprocess and inspect for accuracy.
- Maintain tools and workstations in clean organized condition.
- Ensure parts are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Collaborate with the plating team to meet production schedules
Requirements
- Work well under pressure

- Working with valuable materials candidate must submit to and pass background check
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Clear Communication Skills Comprehend and verbally express results and conclusions
- Critical Evaluation and thinking
Physical Requirements
- Shop experience a plus
- Ability to stand stoop bend twist and maintain a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
- Complete repetitive movements with hands arms wrists shoulders as necessary
- Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
- Lift move or transport items up to 30 pounds without assistance or injury
- Specific visual abilities to examine parts
- Wear protective clothing
- Ability to work around dust chemicals and other substances
