Job Description
Position Title:Electrician
Location:Malvern OH
Overview:
The Oilfield Electrician is responsible for installing maintaining and repairing electrical systems primarily focusing on 480volt 3phase systems used in oilfield operations. This role involves troubleshooting electrical issues ensuring safety compliance and maintaining reliable power for equipment across both remote sites and permanent facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install & Maintain 480V Systems:Handle 480volt electrical systems including transformers control panels motors and generators.
- Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues within 480V circuits and related components using diagnostic tools.
- Preventative Maintenance:Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently and safely.
- Safety & Compliance:Adhere to safety procedures and ensure all work complies with industry standards (NEC OSHA).
- Documentation:Maintain precise records of inspections repairs and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:13 years of experience as an electrician focusing on 480V electrical systems.
- Certifications:Journeyman electrician license or equivalent required; OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
- Skills:Proficiency with 480V systems troubleshooting and reading electrical schematics.
- Physical:Capability to work in challenging outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
