Job Description

Position Summary
The College of Professional Studies invites qualified candidates to apply for an Adjunct Faculty position in the professional education program to teach the Certified Management Accounting courses CMA Exam Prep Part 1: Financial Planning Performance and Analytics and CMA Exam Prep Part 2: Strategic Financial Management. The College of Professional Studies will accept applications throughout the year. If a teaching vacancy arises we will consider the submitted applications. Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct in a professional manner all assigned classes per guidance and policies from the University and College of Professional Studies. Prepare course syllabus with weekly class schedule additional referenced materials and teaching tools for online classroom delivery. Teach required material(s) to students using technology tools provided by the University. Provide an environment of learning that is welcoming interactive and focused. Actively engage in learning community so that the facultys presence is regularly felt by the students. Prepare and submit accurate and precise student grades when due distribute materials and monitor attendance and activities reporting. Build a strong online learning community. Answer student questions and providing guidance when appropriate. Attend at collegewide meetings and events (virtual or inperson as appropriate). Support and following college policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree Certified Management Accountant credential Commitment to excellence in teaching

Preferred Qualifications
Specific knowledge of Blackboard Canvas and other Instructional Design Tools as well as Web Conferencing Tools. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and theories. Experience teaching online particularly in a higher education setting.
