Position Summary:This position focuses on seasonal operation of the Williams Tennis Campus and Hubbard Pickleball Center. The Tennis and Pickleball Staff are responsible for the daily operations and facility management of Tennis and Pickleball activities at Lakeside Chautauqua including daily lessons special events and court maintenance. Staff should at a minimum be able to play tennis and provide guests with basic information about tennis fundamentals and rules.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports the mission of Lakeside Chautauqua and a culture of belonging at Perry Park the Williams Tennis Campus and Hubbard Pickleball Courts.
- Monitors the use of tennis and pickleball courts equipment and activities
- Proactively engages in conversation with players and guests and promotes tennis and pickleball programs ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Provides excellent service to ensure high quality guest experience and satisfaction. Works to resolve all related issues tactfully effectively in a timely manner.
- Assists with tennis & pickleball lessons clinics events as appropriate to personal skill level.
- Assists Tennis or Pickleball Pro with needs for lessons programs etc..0
- Maintains confidentiality of guests personal information
- Utilizes registration software maintaining rosters and updating information.
- Ensures the safety of all guests and staff and that all Lakeside Chautauqua rules and regulations are followed
- Proactively performs required court maintenance as required including dragging the courts refreshing lines drying of hard courts etc. at Perry Park Williams and Hubbard Courts. Reports any issues to Tennis/Pickleball Supervisor
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of all tennis and pickleball equipment facilities and grounds. Reports any issues to Tennis/Pickleball Supervisor.
- Collaborates with Facilities and grounds department to maintain flowerpots and flower beds throughout campus grounds
- Works directly with Tennis/Pickleball Supervisor maintaining facility operations and integrity by assisting with daily operations and management.
- Collects and/or confirms contact information and usage from all who utilize courts and/or equipment.
- Assists with event registrations checkins administrative duties as assigned by Tennis/Pickleball Supervisor
- Inventories all equipment and reports any necessary repairs or maintenance to Tennis/Pickleball Supervisor.
- Oversees that all Lakeside Chautauqua rules and regulations are followed
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Responsible High School student or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years related tennis and pickleball experience or training

- Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop climb or balance. Specific vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus are required. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and material up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to climb ladders.
