What Youll Be Doing
You wont be stuck doing the same repairs day in day out. As a BikesOnline mechanic youll take on a dynamic role that blends handson bike work with problemsolving and process improvement. Your main tasks will include:
- Preparing returned bikes for resale including repairs boxing photographing and updating listings.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues developing solutions and performing repairs on returned bikes.
- Assessing and repairing bikes and wheels for warranty claims.
- Assembling new bicycles for VIPs local pick ups and testing them to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Occasionally prepping bikes for marketing shootsyes your work might be featured in our promotions!
- Workplace Maintenance Ensuring a clean safe and organised workspace in the warehouse.
- Managing the workshops tools and inventory keeping track of replacement parts and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Other tasks as required.
What Youll Have
Were looking for a mechanic with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problemsolving. If you love bikes thrive in a fastpaced environment and enjoy collaborating with a team youll fit right in.
- Experience: Passion to working with bikes of all types including eBikes.
- Technical KnowHow: Ability to assess mechanical and cosmetic issues determine repair viability and get bikes back to peak condition.
- ProblemSolving Skills: You dont just fix bikesyou find the best most efficient solutions.
- Time Management: Youll work on multiple bikes per day so efficiency is key.
- Safety & Precision: Familiarity with safe lifting techniques and attention to detail.
Bonus Points if You Have:
- A qualification in bike maintenance (not required but a plus!
- Experience working with a broad range of bicycle types.
