Your mission:

The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated Hotel Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty cleanliness and safety of our outdoor areas. In this role you will ensure that the resorts grounds gardens walkways and exterior spaces are wellkept and visually appealing. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring the resorts exterior reflects our high standards. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining pristine surroundings this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Where you can make an impact:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas including gardens lawns parking lots and walkways.
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks such as raking sweeping leafblowing and trash collection.
- Ensure all walkways entrances and outdoor guest areas are free of debris and hazards.
- Assist with lawn care including mowing trimming edging and watering as needed to maintain healthy green spaces.
- Plant and maintain flowers shrubs trees and other vegetation to enhance the beauty of the grounds.
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal salting walkways and ensuring outdoor areas are safe during inclement weather.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor lighting signage and irrigation systems reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance to management.
- Work with other maintenance staff to support larger landscaping and groundskeeping projects.
- Operate basic groundskeeping equipment including lawn mowers trimmers and power washers while following safety protocols.
- Uphold resort standards by maintaining a clean orderly and attractive outdoor environment at all times.
- Assist with event setup and takedown as required for outdoor functions and guest activities.
What Sets You Apart: Education/Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping landscaping or outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift move and operate equipment (up to 50 lbs) and to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and resort guests.
- Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
