Job Description
NyproMolddesigns manufactures and qualifies high quality precision plastic injection molds for the healthcare and packaging industries. We use the latest technology in high precision machining design and manufacturing to produce injection molds in our plants located inClinton MAandGurnee IL.NyproMold has a 30 year track record of success in the plastic injection mold industry and offers significant career growth potential to prospective employees.
Entry level Project Engineer opportunity in our Clinton MA facility.
Project engineers at NyproMold play a vital role in linking clarifying coordinating and communicating between departments internally and directly with customers. The Project engineers work varies greatly day to day depending upon the type of project and where the project stands on its way to completion.Researching information monitoring progress updating schedules communicating status coordinating expediting efforts facilitating meetings creating/following up on action registers are all among the things that may be required to keep a project moving smoothly or get it going again. Our ongoing goal is to ensure we understand and communicate internally what the customer wants have developed a winning project solution have a viable project plan and then monitor all activities required until the project is delivered successfully.
Duties and responsibilities:
Follow the NyproMold project management system procedures to initiate resources to action and coordinate all project activities from quoting to final shipment and support at the customer.
Be the voice of the customer internally ensuring our customers needs are heard and being met.
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules action registers monitoring activities and tasks of the projects.
Escalate and communicate project issues if they arise and follow them through until they are satisfactorily resolved. Manage changes in scope and verify there is a mutual understanding of the changes between the NyproMold team and our customers.
Be relentless and timely in addressing issues of missing information and verification of project status. Hold both our customers and our internal resources responsible to meet their commitments.
Qualification and skills
Experience in a made to order manufacturing business and or strong interests/passion for manufacturing
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a passion for detail and delivering whats promised
Good computer skills ability to learn and become proficient in business related softwares
Bachelors degree and or 2 years of high quality experience in the position
