Job Description
Triumph supports the education wellbeing and selfsufficiency of young children and their families through high quality early childhood programs and community engagement.
As a Preschool (Head Start) Teacher you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding activities for a preschool classroom including curriculum implementation daily classroom activities and selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom including maintaining a safe neat organized learning environment that is welcoming nurturing and high functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the implementation of developmentally appropriate activities for children
- Communicating with families about their childrens development and progress
- Guide and facilitate activities of the children including curriculum implementation daily activities field trips selecting and arranging equipment and materials in the classroom.
- Complete and submit required forms and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Participate in preservice training inservice training and other mandatory training requirements to meet EEC and Head Start requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Massachusetts EEC Teacher Preschool certified. (Agency offers certification if not obtained independently)
- Knowledge and experience of developmentally appropriate practices with 12 years minimum experience working with preschool children.
- Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Benefits & Compensation
Salary range between $21.01 $28.88/hr. dependent on education and experience

MondayFriday; 40 hours per week; 46 weeks per year
Must be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm
