Job Description Summary
Thrive is seekinglicensed clinicians holding an active unrestricted LGPC LMSW LGDAC LCDAC LCPC LCSWC LGMFT LCMFT or similar provide individual group and family therapy surrounding addictions and cooccurring mental health challenges within the AACPS system specifically the Annapolis Area. The Substance Use Prevention and Intervention Therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team performing direct services including individual family and group therapy assessments consultations and crisis interventions within the scope of the respective individuals license. The SUPI therapist also provides psychoeducation to families and students on substance use issues such as vaping tobacco alcohol opioids and other .
The above role requires licensure (not certification) are fulltime and paid on an hourly basis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Using professional counseling skills providestherapy to individuals couples and families
- Timely documents sessions
- Collaborates as necessary with Prescribing Team Intake Coordinator/s Front Desk Clinical Supervisor and others to provide a treatment plan
- Attends meetings and trainings as required
- Represents Thrive at school or other engagements as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Unrestricted Licenseas an LGPC LGPAT LGMFT LGDAC LMSWunder the Maryland Professional Counseling and/or Social Work Board/s; Certification in lieu of licensure cannot be accepted.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The essential functions of this job include the following physical and intellectual demands:
- Frequently sit stand and or walk
- Regularly driving a motor vehicle
- Frequently hearing seeing and speaking

- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- The ability to work in a fastpaced environment with potential for stressful situations

- The organization cannot control all environments in which a therapist may encounter outside of the Thrive office space however staff are encouraged to notify management to determine if there are reasonable options available. Examples to consider include but are not limited to temperature/humidity of the site places to sit while providing therapy smoking and/or pets in the home and a private environment to provide therapy. You may be exposed to other allergens.
- Due to the nature of the industry working in the evenings approximately 7:308:00 pm may be expected.
