Please be aware that your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government will be responsible for all of your salary/remuneration social insurance pension contributions welfare benefits family allowances benefits during your assignment at INTERPOL as well as travel removal expenses related to your arrival at and departure from INTERPOL and any other related costs depending on your circumstances. It is requested that you obtain in writing confirmation from your home Administration/Agency/Service/Government that it agrees with these CONDITIONS OF SECONDMENT. This confirmation letter should be forwarded to us THROUGH THE NCB.

SUMMARY OF THE ASSIGNED DUTIES
INCLUDING GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POST/RSUM DES MISSIONS Y COMPRIS DES BUTS ET OBJECTIFS DU POSTE
Under the responsibility of the HRM Director or Heads of Branches the incumbent carries out different HR activities within his/her assigned portfolio ensuring adherence to the provisions of the Staff Manual and other applicable rules and procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for data input and upkeeping of all related Human Resources information in the relevant Systems. The incumbent might also be assigned to only one or two of the duty areas listed below.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES/PRINCIPALES MISSIONS ET ACTIVITS
DUTY 1
Administration of Recruitments & Relocations:
- Provide information and assistance to candidates Staff Members and Hiring Managers in regards to the recruitment and selection procedures.
- Ensure that rules procedures and administrative formalities are observed.
- Draft post vacancies and recruitment circulars and ensure their publications
- Organize and participate in the selection of candidates
- Create personal files and draft offers of appointment.
- Administer any other recruitmentrelated formalities.
- Assist with all Relocationrelated tasks (visa vehicle registration facilitation of administrative matters linked to relocation and installation in Lyon (schooling housing etc..
DUTY 2
Administration of contracts and entitlements including payroll and compensation and benefits:
- Ensure officials adhere to all administrative procedures in accordance with the appropriate directives and instructions including but not limited to the Staff Manual and Staff Instructions.
- Prepare and execute appointment documents upon arrival of an official and brief him/her on their rights obligations and benefits (pension medical coverage etc.
- Prepare necessary documents related to the officials employment within the Organization (correspondence with the National Central Bureaus Individual Decisions Contract Follow Ups etc.
- Ensure officials absences are managed in accordance with the Staff Manual and with administrative obligations towards health insurance.
- Administration of assessment reports and updates of personnels files.
- Manage the documentation and formalities for an officials departure.
DUTY 3
Administration of Staff Development and Workforce Planning:
- Assist the Staff Development team in administering all Staff trainingrelated tasks (planning logistics reporting data entry training provider identification and purchasing etc..
- Assist in the design development and delivery of staff training activities
- Assist the Workforce Planning area in the updating and followup of the Multi Annual Staffing Plan as well as listings of contract renewals and recruitments plans.
DUTY 4
Assistance to the HR Director or Heads of Branch:
- Assist the HRM Heads of Branch in different HRrelated Projects.
- Provide input and participate in different discussions on HR related matters.
- Input and preparation of different reports and/or statistics.
- Drafting different forms of official correspondence.
- Follow up on deadlines.
- Producing meeting minutes.
DUTY 5
Perform any other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS COMPTENCES ET APTITUDES
Education and qualification required:
- A University degree of at least two year duration in a relevant area (Human Resources Public or Business Administration etc.
Experience required:
- A minimum of three years professional experience in the area of Human Resources Management. A minimum of five years professional experience in the area of Human Resources Management if the candidate does not possess the required level of education.
- Experience in an International Organization would be a definite asset.
Languages:
- Professional fluency in English both in oral and writing.
- Professional fluency in French would be considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of any other of the Organizations official languages (Spanish or Arabic) will be considered an additional asset.
Abilities required:
- Experience in working with computers including proficiency with the Ms Office (or similar) suite.
- Knowledge and experience with an electronic HR management software is required.
- Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments observing deadlines and achieving results.
- Very good communication skills including the ability to explain complex issues to persons of different backgrounds cultures and perspectives.
