Job Description

We are looking for a SolutionLevel Software System Engineer to join our team to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.
Your daytoday work will include:
- Working as a member of the Solutions System Engineering Team in prioritizing capabilities to be worked in a given Program Increment (PI).
- Working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to better understand the scope of an Initiative/Capability.
- Assembling Artifacts and other information into Solutions Initiative Documents (SIDs) as well as Solutions Engineering Documents (SEDs) and refining Jira tickets as necessary.
- Modeling Capability behavior (SV1 SV4 using the MagicDraw MBSE tool.
- Creating/modifying existing behavior to include Functions and Data Exchanges/Signals.
- Defining Acceptance Criteria for a Capability and tracing the Acceptance Criteria to behavior in the model.
- Determining current Capabilities Description Document (CDD) and System Spec requirements being satisfied by the capability and establishing those links in the model.
- Recommending follow on Feature tickets to be implemented at the Program Level.
- Facilitating/Leading both Internal and Formal Reviews of an Initiative/Capability.
- Adjudicating review comments and transitioning recommended Capabilities/Features to the backlog by drafting Capabilities/Features for implementation using Jira.
- Participating in regularly scheduled team standups as well as Team Planning Retrospectives and Prioritization.
At a minimum you should have:
- An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
- A bachelors degree in a STEM field.
- 3 or more years of system engineering or related experience.
- Experience with ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Proficiency in MagicDraw
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office toolset
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various levels of workers/leaders
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- A masters degree in systems engineering

Estimated Salary Range: $140000 $185000
The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers including the positions scope and responsibilities as well as the candidates experience education skills and prevailing market conditions.
