Job Description

Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Engineering Technician I

Location: Tacoma WA

Job Summary:

The Traveling Biomedical Engineering Technician I will be responsible for providing maintenance troubleshooting and repair services for medical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Tacoma WA area. This position requires frequent travel to different locations so the ideal candidate must be willing to work on the go.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of medical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment
  • Repair and replace faulty components as needed
  • Document all service and repair activities
  • Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper equipment usage

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical equipment
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
  • Must pass background and drug screen.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
