Ark Mortgage is seeking a motivated Level 1 IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. This entrylevel role involves providing technical support to endusers troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting in the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills a willingness to learn and a passion for solving technologyrelated problems.

Ark Mortgage is seeking a motivated Level 1 IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. This entrylevel role involves providing technical support to endusers troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting in the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills a willingness to learn and a passion for solving technologyrelated problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve basic technical issues for users via phone email or in person.
- Provide firstline support for hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems escalating complex issues to higherlevel IT staff as needed.
- Log and track incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system.
- Assist with the setup configuration and maintenance of desktops laptops printers and other peripherals.
- Perform basic software installations and updates as required.
- Perform user onboarding guide users on IT policies best practices and the effective use of hardware and software.
- Document solutions to frequently encountered problems for user reference.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Support the IT team in managing and deploying new hardware or software solutions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- CompTIA A Microsoft Fundamentals or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- 12 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Knowledge of operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving and organizational abilities.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite email systems and IT service management tools.
