Job Description

  • Lead & provide support to the Business Support & Compliance Team

  • Permanent Fulltime position based in Blackburn
Your new role

As the Team Leader Business Support & Compliance you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a consistent Quality Management and compliance culture across Uniting Housing.

In this role some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the compliance team providing support & guidance and fostering a culture of compliance
  • Reviewing maintaining and publishing the appropriate policies procedures and standards to maintain Uniting Housing registration
  • Managing compliance reporting internal audits and addressing any audit findings or concerns
  • Ensuring all community housing operations comply with local state and national regulations.

Your skills and experience
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline including community services social sciences or social housing management
  • Qualification/s in residential property management
  • Experience in the community housing and/or homelessness services sectors (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in the community housing sector (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of asset management building and safety regulations and standards (highly desirable)
  • Strong skills and experience in quality improvement processes and compliance
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead develop and manage a team in a changing environment
