Position Purpose

Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

Work with assigned vendors for all aspects of purchasing functions

Work with Aftermarket Manager and Group Purchasing to support JCB Service Includes pricing lead times MOQs and key purchasing responsibilities

Negotiate NA domestic pricing and process price change requests

Create new schedule agreements

Investigate invoice issues and work with suppliers to resolve

Set up new vendors and extend part numbers in SAP

Process Techwebs as required

Process daily buyer worklist

Work with NPI team to ensure JCB Service is included in the process and ready for launch of new product

Process supersessions

Minimum Qualifications

• BS Engineering or BA Business
• 5 years in strategic purchasing experience
• Must pass any drug screens background checks and preemployment tests as applicable

Knowledge Skills Abilities & Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Comfortable in an inperson office environment
• Technical competence is a plus
• Must be customer service oriented flexible and have a high energy level
• Must have excellent followthrough skills
• Must have a professional polished and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
• Must be open to domestic and international travel
• Desire and proven ability to learn and grow

Job Conditions

• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
• Subject to noise and temperature changes
