Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Light Commercial HVAC Technician Apprentice to join our South Florida team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain handson experience in commercial HVAC installation maintenance and service. You will work alongside experienced technicians learning the skills needed to advance in the trade.
Compensation $18 $20 /hour
Schedule MondaythruFriday8AM 5PM.NeedFlexibilityforoncallandfinishingthejob(40/60hours/week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with the installation repair and maintenance of light commercial HVAC systems.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures while working on job sites.
- Help with equipment setup material handling and job site preparation.
- Complete training assignments and actively participate in onthejob learning opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment including company vehicles and job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure highquality service.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly with or without an accommodation
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and scaffolding
- Strong interest in learning the HVAC trade; previous handson experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Willingness to complete training programs and obtain necessary certifications.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions.
