Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate trial balances
- Handle VAT returns and ensure timely submissions
- Process payroll efficiently and accurately
- Complete and submit EMP201 and EMP501 returns
- Calculate and submit WCA and UIF contributions
- Maintain an uptodate and accurate asset register
- Perform general bookkeeping duties as required
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written & spoken)
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Diploma in Accounting Bookkeeping or Finance (minimum requirement)
- Experience working in a professional services firm (preferred)
- Ability to work with various accounting software including:
- Xero
- Pastel & Pastel Payroll
- Sage Online
- QuickBooks Online
- MS Office 365 (Excel specifically)
