The Role:
Entegris is seeking a QA lab technician for our Bedford MA site schedule: 2nd shift 12:00 pm 8:30 pm Wed Sun).The QA technician is responsible for QA testing and will provide analytical support for all manufacturing processes including incoming material inspections inprocess production key parameter testing final product releasing V&Q projects and plant quality testing requests. The QA technician will prepare test samples and report data using GCMS GCFID HPLC ASE UVVIS titration Instron etc.
In this role you will:
Ensure a Safe Working Environment
Consistently uphold a clean and safe work environment.
Ensure the safety of coworkers and visitors at all times.
Adhere to the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Execute all duties in a safe manner following established safety procedures without exception.
Stay vigilant for potential hazards promptly communicate any concerns to leadership and recommend safer alternatives when necessary.
Participate in safety training sessions as required.
Technical Support and Quality Assurance
Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner
Conduct all QA testing of UPE products from manufacturing.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for conducting required tests.
Set up analytical standards reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process.
Analyze and interpret test data maintain documentation of test operations and ensure data quality and integrity.
Ensure proper running of all laboratory equipment (GCMS GCFID HPLC LCMS ASE extractors Instron etc.
Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment.
Regularly verify equipment performance using LongTerm Stability SQC charting
Ensure full compliance with Entegris Quality requirements
Execute OutofControl Action Plans (OCAP) and implementation of corrective actions
Author and review Test Methods SOPs work instructions test specifications and other documents.
Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Bachelors degree in chemistry Chemical Engineering Material Science or equivalent degrees in science
Experience with organic lab is a plus and handson experience with GCMS LC FTIR UVVis and other analytical tools are desirable
