Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable payroll and general ledger.
Manage the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations accounting standards and internal policies.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop implement and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness of financial data.
Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor the accounting team providing guidance and performance feedback.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Cash Flow & Risk Management:
Manage cash flow liquidity and banking relationships.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field. A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA ACCA CMA) is preferred.
Experience:8 years in finance accounting or related roles with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP IFRS etc.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. ZohoBooks SAP Oracle)
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Excellent leadership and communication skills
