Service Technician Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and following dealership standards.
Testdrive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
Diagnose maintain and repair various automotive systems including engine transmission electrical suspension brakes and air conditioning.
Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers about additional services needed and estimate repair time.
Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years of experience in an automotive dealership.
Strong understanding of the service drive.
Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent handeye coordination and dexterity.
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Proficiency with computers and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
