The Georgia Department of Public Health is the lead agency entrusted by the people of Georgia with the ultimate responsibility for the health of communities and the entire population.
The agency seeks a highly qualified candidate for the Vendor Cost Containment Senior Analyst position with the Women Infants and Children (WIC) Program. The Vendor Cost Containment Senior Analyst reports to the WIC Vendor Analytics and Cost Containment Manager and is responsible for providing detailed vendor management food cost and pricing analysis to generate effective pricing and food cost containment strategies for the WIC program to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and to minimize overall food cost for the Program.
Associate degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university and six 6 years of experience related to the area of assignment.
Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge education job or intern experience training or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted yearoveryear.
Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR associates degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience OR Two years of experience at the lowerlevel IT Business Analyst 3 (ITP062 or position equivalent.
