As a Controller you will oversee all accounting and financial activities in a manufacturing environment focusing on product costing. Responsibilities include developing internal controls policies and procedures ensuring GAAP compliance. The Controller will manage accounting functions such as financial statements cost accounting and budgeting. The Controller establishes operational best practices maintains accounting policies and develops costing systems for margin reporting. Key responsibilities include data analysis financial statement preparation and advising management on strategic financial decisions.

- Controller will manage and oversee all aspects of accounting and financial activities of the company in a job shop manufacturing environment with particular attention to product costing
- Responsibilities include development of internal controls policies procedures and financial planning as needed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- The Controller position is handson and visible in a teamoriented environment.
- Manage all aspects of accounting including financial statements general ledger cost accounting cash management billing payroll accounts payable accounts receivable budgeting forecasting tax compliance inventory accounting and various special analysis
- Define benchmark implement operational best practices policies and procedures
- Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations.
- Develop and maintain costing system to report on margins related to customers and product lines
- Continuous data collection analysis reporting and interpretation
- Prepare and organize financial statements for record and review
- Advise on financial analyses and decisionmaking regarding capital investments pricing contract negotiations significant costs benchmarks and other matters with management
- Organize information and statements for audits and both internal and external auditors
- Prepare consolidated reports for parent company on the financial business activity including weekly reports balance sheet profit and loss statement and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
- Comply with all local state and federal laws regarding finances tax filings and reporting
- Additional controller duties as needed
- Able to analyze organize summarize and articulate complex financial information
- Able to read and interpret agreements then implement the relevant provisions of agreements
- Work will be performed primarily in an office environment
- Follow established department SOPs cGMP regulations and batch record instructions.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
- Perform other related job duties related to the job as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- College Degree or applicable training in an accredited college/university preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Seven 7 or more years of work experience in a fastpaced work environment preferably in manufacturing.
- Any combination of experience education and training that provides the level of knowledge skills and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- CPA is a plus

This position is currently classified as onsite.
Base Salary Range: $124000.00 $155000.00 per year based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Holidays Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including but not limited to location skills education and experience.
