Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
It is the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair all equipment to assist in the daily operations and activities that they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.

Location: Gold Strike Casino Resort Tunica MS
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in all general maintenance services projects and repairs as determined by Management.
Provides administrative dispatch and technical support as directed by management.
Maintains casino lighting hotel rooms hotel corridors and all Backof House and FrontofHouse
areas.
Repairs plumbing and associated equipment to include toilet replacement leaks in piping faucet and
snake stopped drains.
Assists with repairs to air handlers vent hoods and kitchen equipment.
Perform repairs and refreshing of all building surfaces (interior and exterior).
Assists with hanging banners as required utilizing various equipment lifts etc.
Organizes and inventories storage and electrical rooms.
Assisting departments in moving or assembling office equipment and furniture.
Maintains water treatment of pool and spa.
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Perform other jobrelated duties as requested by Management.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One 1 year general and preventative maintenance experience.
Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
Experience working in a similar resort setting.
CERTIFICATION:
Valid state issued drivers license.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Able to work from blueprints and interpret manufacturers guidelines for the operation and
maintenance of related equipment.
Knowledgeable of hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of air conditioning electrical systems plumbing carpet tile flooring and
soldering.
Basic knowledge of wall repair and painting.
Equipment troubleshooting skills.
